    Tsunami

    MapAction, IWMI and Survey Department of Sri Lanka are working together with CNO, Sri Lanka to produce regularly updated maps of the post-tsunami situation in the country. The maps are produced from 29 Dec 2004 to now are listed below. These will be updated twice a day. Along with maps, variety of data and other useful information are available to public. Please click on the links below to access data via FTP.

    1. Landsat, ASTER, Radarsat, and many others : USGS disaster response  
         
     

    Lots of free imagery from Landsat ETM+ (30-m), ASTER (15-60 m), Radarsat (various), and other sensors. Keep visiting this site that is constantly updated. Free images. These are coordinated by USGS, NASA, and numerous other agencies.

    Landsat 30-m Image analysis. This site provides good science analysis of Landsat data and products thereof..

     

    3. SPOT and SPOT Asia  
         
     

    Extensive analysis of Tsunami using SPOT and IKONOS and numerous other data. Rapid response. Including mpeg movie animations. Fantastic site.
